This week in Maths, we are revising money, fractions and odd and even numbers. Students will also have an opportunity to review their recent Maths Term test and identify goals achieved. Well done to all students on a fantastic effort to work on their learning goals in Maths. In Geography, we continue to explore the disposal of waste products, with a focus on reducing, reusing, recycling and replacing. It is great to see an increase in nude food lunches. We encourage all students to pack a waste-free lunch every day.

The swimming carnival will be held at Park ridge State School - Mt Lindsay Hwy, park Ridge. The bus leaves for the pool at 9am. Children may wear their swimmers under their uniformand will need to wear a swimming cap during all races. Please remember to name all belongings so any lost items can be returned! Please note there are no tuckshop facilities at the pool, but snow cones will be available for $4.

Thank you to the families who have already donated to the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal. Year 4 students are collecting books, toys, games and sporting equipment. We hope to generously support the underprivileged in our community this Christmas.
