week in maths we are exploring division.
Students use their knowledge of number facts to solve division problems involving two digits, without remainders. .
E.g. 96 ÷ 3 =
In
history, students continue to examine the nature of contact between
Indigenous Australians and early settlers. They look at Aboriginal persons such as Bennelong and Arabanoo and
the capture of Aborigines by the authorities throughout the 'frontier
conflict'. In English, we continue to explore persuasive devices used
in expositions. This week. we look at the structure and features of the conclusion including re-presenting a point of view and summarizing the main ideas. Sacraments continue to be the focus for our work
in Religion. This week, students examine the symbols associated with
sacraments and explore scriptural connections to the sacrament of
reconciliation.
